Energy first. Reality follows.

Welcome to my world — where energy comes first, and reality follows.

Today I want to share a personal story about how I’ve consciously created a life I love (and how I do this on repeat ). Not as motivation, but as insight. My hope is that you’ll recognize something in yourself — and loosen your grip just enough for things to move again.

When I was 15, I started snowboarding.

For the first time, I felt fully alive in my body. Like something had switched back on after years of moving through life half-asleep. I didn’t want to let that feeling go.

A few years later — I’ve never shared this publicly — I walked past a TV that was playing a show about someone working at a ski resort in the mountains. And something in me recognized it. Instantly.

I had a clear inner vision:
That’s me. I’m going to work in the mountains after I finish school.

I was 18. Determined. Certain — without needing proof.

Now comes the part where most dreams quietly dissolve.

My best friend and I started sending out job applications in February (no idea why we thought applying for the next winter season that early was a good idea). Mostly, we heard nothing. A few polite rejections.

But here’s the important part:
I didn’t collapse into urgency.

Instead, I moved cities. Got a job. Met people. Enjoyed life. I didn’t put my happiness on hold while waiting for my dream to arrive.

Then, in the middle of November — long after I had stopped trying — my friend sent one more email on a whim.

She got a yes.

She asked if they needed two people.

They did.

“Pack your bags,” she told me. “We’re moving to Switzerland.”

And the rest, for the sake of this story, is history.

Now, I know what you might be thinking.
I was young. I had fewer responsibilities. Life felt easier then.

Maybe.

But this story wasn’t about luck or timing. It came down to two things:

First — I knew what I wanted existed.
There were mountains all over the world. Ski resorts. Jobs. Possibilities. I wasn’t trying to create something impossible.

Second — and this matters more — I didn’t make the outcome responsible for my happiness.
I had a vision, but I kept living.

This is where so many desires collapse.

When reality doesn’t yet look the way we want it to, pressure creeps in.
Pressure turns into urgency.
And urgency disconnects us from the very state that allows things to move.

Urgency is one of the fastest ways to push life away.

So if you’re working toward something right now — and constantly noticing that reality isn’t matching your vision — pause here.

Ask yourself:

  • Where am I gripping instead of living?

  • Where have I made the outcome responsible for my peace?

  • What would change if I trusted the timing enough to stay present?

Energy leads.
Reality follows.

And when you stop pressuring life, it often finds its way to you — quietly, unexpectedly, and right on time.
